Signworx Signs and Design

Signworx is a signage, graphic design, printing and promotions specialist. We’re based in the Bay of Islands, and serve customers throughout Northland, and as far afield as Auckland.

Founder Mike Byrne established Signworx in 2003, and today still runs the company with his brother Chris Byrne. Mike’s aim was to set up a high quality signwriting business that offered its customers something that few others did – personal service.

Today, the mission of the Signworx team remains the same – to provide businesses in the Northland area with quality signage and promotional solutions, at the lowest possible cost, and with the personal touch that’s so often missing from business relationships these days.

Meet the Signworx team

Chris Byrne
Chris joined Signworx in its first year as joint owner and manages the shop, as well as looking after sales.
Chris’s background was previously in stainless steel engineering, having trained as a stainless engineer by trade, and worked as an engineer in Hamilton building dairy factories, before joining Mike in Northland to be involved in Signworx.
Cheree Byrne
Cheree has been part of the business from day one. Her role as Accounts Manager makes her responsible for managing the accounts and admin of the business, while her other role as Mike’s wife usually makes her responsible for managing him!
Cheree originally studied psychology and nursing in Hamilton, and worked as a nurse before joining Signworx, where she now works part time.
